Raw hair is considered the highest quality hair extensions available. What makes them unique is that they are 100% unprocessed human hair —meaning they have never been chemically treated, permed, colored, relaxed, steam-processed, or altered in any way after being collected from the donor. It comes in its most natural state. 

Raw hair comes from a single donor, meaning one person’s hair. It’s usually collected in one of two ways —by cutting a ponytail or braid directly from the donor's head, or through temple donations (common in India). Because it comes from one person, the cuticles all run in the same direction, which is a key marker of quality. 

Some of its key characteristics are that they are:

• Longer lifespan -   Can be colored/processed

All in all, raw hair extensions are the gold standard in the hair industry-- as they are the most natural, most durable, and the most versatile. 

Unlike raw hair, virgin hair more than likely has been processed in other ways, such as steaming to enhance or create a wave/curl pattern.

Virgin hair is typically collected from multiple donors rather than a single one. The hair is then sorted, aligned, and bundled together. Because it comes from multiple people, extra care is taken during manufacturing to ensure the cuticles are aligned properly. 

Virgin hair is an excellent, reliable choice that offers quality, longevity, and versatility. While it doesn’t quite reach the untouched purity of raw hair, it remains one of the best options on the market and is widely trusted by both everyday wearers and professional stylists. 

A bundle refers to a measured weft (track) of hair, typically 100 grams per bundle. Most installs require a minimum of 3 bundles, depending on the desired fullness and the style being installed. 

Single drawn hair is often thick at the top but thinner and more tapered towards the ends, mimicking how natural hair grows. This option provides a natural, effortless look.

Double-drawn hair is thick and full from root to tip. This option delivers that bold, voluminous, high-glamour finish. 

Which One Should You Choose?

Choose double drawn if you want maximum fullness, thickness, and a more dramatic, high-impact style from root to tip. 

Clip-in extensions are one of the most popular and beginner-friendly types of hair extensions available. They are exactly what they sound like -- extensions that clip directly into your natural hair with small pressure-sensitive combs or clips.

The reason why clip-ins are a fan favourite among most is because of a few reasons:

• Temporary-- put them in & take them out
• No commitment -- completely removable at any given time 
• DIY friendly-- no salon visit required
• Instant results in as little as 5-15 minutes 
• Reusable -- can last months to years

Clip-ins are incredibly versatile and can be used to achieve added length and volume. 

At Rene Extensions, we provide Virgin Seamless Weft Clip-Ins, which are undetectable due to their flatter base compared to traditional Standard Weft Clip-Ins. Each set of clip-ins comes with 10 pieces. Our clip-ins are 150 grams, ideal for adding volume, and are double-drawn, full from the root to the ends. 

To ensure a quick delivery, orders cannot be altered or changed once payment is complete. However, if your order has not yet been shipped, you may request a cancellation on your order 24 hours prior to purchase.

- Your extensions do not have a access to natural oils like own our hair does, so keeping your extensions moisturized reduces frizz and dryness.

- After you remove your extensions for the day, it is crucial to brush them neatly before you store them. After you brush them out, tie them up with a scrunchie at the base of the wefts in a ponytail. Store away neatly.

- When washing your extensions, make sure they are completely dry before storing them to prevent unwanted bacteria from growing.

In case you don't know, clip ins are designed to be temporary. Wearing them in for too long can cause tension to your scalp. It is best to removed them before bed.

*Swimming in your Rene Extensions Clip Ins is not recommended as it can cause severe tangling to the hair, therefore ruining its integrity. *

Proper care will always ensure longevity. Your Rene Extensions can last up to 1-2 years.

You can absolutely wash and style the hair; You should treat them as if it is your own. Deep conditioners are an amazing item to keep around to keep your extensions in tip-top shape.

Hair extensions are considered a hygienic product. Therefore, we do not offer returns or exchanges.

When an order is returned or undeliverable for any reasons that are attributable to customer error, the customer is responsible for full shipping and/or reshipping charges.

Please be advised that international orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and additional fees upon arrival in the destination country. These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Customs fees and import regulations vary by country and are outside of Rene Extensions’ control. We are unable to predict the exact amount you may be charged, as these fees are assessed independently by your country’s customs office at the time of delivery.

We strongly encourage all international customers to research their country’s import policies and applicable fees prior to placing an order, as these costs are separate from your purchase total and shipping charges.

By placing an international order with Rene Extensions, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for any and all customs-related fees that may apply.

All USA orders are shipped via UPS or USPS and require a signature for delivery. This is to prevent any packages from getting stolen. Please allow 5-8 business days, excluding weekends, for shipping.

All International orders are shipped via UPS. Please allow 2-3 weeks for shipping and receiving. It is important to note that custom fees may be present and the customer is responsible for covering the costs when receiving your order.
